What Could Have Been:

Sharks forward Logan Couture was protected by SJ GM Doug Wilson earlier this week with a trade proposal from Columbus for trade deadline coveted Blue Jackets forward Rick Nash. Wilson declined the trade, stating publically that Couture is the present and future of the San Jose Sharks.

San Jose is still interested in Rick Nash, as well as Nash who has placed them at the top of his teams he wants to go to.

Did I give you a heart attack?
